Speaker 1: Can an air purifier help reduce dust in the home? Let’s find out. We start by recreating a very dusty environment in our air purifier test chamber. Like Maxar drywall sand, block and sugar is a container filled with sand, our particle counter continuously measures the composition of particles in the air. Inside the camera, we can see the number on the screen grow dramatically. Then we turn on the air purifier and watch it do its magic. Almost immediately, the concentration of dust particles in the air begins to decrease. As we can see in this graphic, only this air purifier was needed [00:00:30] unit approximately three minutes to return the air to breathable conditions. This is from 900 million to under 10 million total particles per cubic meter. Air purifiers achieve this by drawing air from their surroundings and passing it through a series of filters, removing impurities from the air, such as dust particles, and recirculating the now cleaner air back into the environment. So yes, air purifiers help remove dust from your home.
